DESCRIPTION:404 Stress not Found is a new kind of in person event that focuses on us as people who work in the Tech space. \nIt’s a safe place\, no pitching or selling\, we have a mixture of people from vendors\, MSPs\, CISOs\, Corporate IT people\, mental wellbeing does not respect names of companies\, or job titles. \nWe are all open to it’s impacts\, some more extreme then others. We are not medical experts\, but here to offer a friendly arm around the shoulder\, someone to talk too\, or just come and hang out. Its up to you. \nWe know tech people sometimes find it hard to work on the “soft skills” so lets get together and find out more about who we all are away from work\, what interests we have\, what we enjoy doing\, lets find more people who share those interests too. \nThese events are free to attend. \nWe have a sponsor who understands that this is about looking after the human element here. DESCRIPTION:  \nWhy the IT Connection?\nWe have many events in the IT and tech space\, but we don’t have an event geared up to us as people – Looking at socialising and our well-being. \nWorking in the IT space can be lonely and stressful for MSPs as well as folks who work for vendors and suppliers. They are all equally able to have the same feelings and thoughts. \nWhen Paul Croker opened up recently at the Pax8 Beyond EMEA event in Berlin\, he found that others were in the same boat. People from all walks of life and positions of responsibility are able to relate to this. \nSo\, he has set out to create a series of events called IT Connection. \nThese are geared up with you at the centre\, Paul wants to create something that is focused on the people level\, we can use these events to get to know each other\, share concerns we may have\, ask how others are or approach dealing with mental health challenges. \nThere is no selling\, no work talk\, or pressure\, no numbers. \nThese will be free to attend and the cost of some food will be covered by a sponsor who understands the ethos of these events. \n \nWe will have people with different backgrounds\, from different roles\, from big and small companies\, and even people who work on their own. You are all welcome. \nThese are a series of events as Paul plans to take them around different parts of the country based on where people are. DESCRIPTION:  \nHey\, This is a chance for MSPs and those working in the tech space to come together and solve the issues troubling actual MSPs today. \nThis is an in-person meet-up\, it’s a safe place to hang out\, discuss issues and network with your peers. \nWe meet up at 6 pm at the Knights-Templar pub for those who can make it. At 6.50 pm we head over to the Pax8 Bristol Offices and have our meet-up with pizza and some beers/soft drinks. \nWe then wrap up at 9 pm and head out the door.
